​The Office of Academic Affairs at The City University of New York is seeking an experienced professional in academic instruction, program development, and management to lead its multi-campus CUNY Language Immersion Program (CLIP) and Adult Literacy Program. The University Director of Language and Literacy Programs oversees the 14-campus Adult Literacy Program, the 9-campus CLIP Program, the We Speak NYC TV Series and related web and print materials, and a professional development/curriculum development infrastructure to support these areas. The Director is responsible for the overall functioning of the language and literacy programs, including spearheading curricular and pedagogical innovations, analyzing and using data to ensure program effectiveness, developing and managing a large and complex budget, and overseeing the successful academic and non-academic integration of students into the University. The Director will cultivate internal and external relationships and partnerships to enhance the social integration of non­traditional learners at CUNY.  The position reports to the University Assistant Dean for Pre-Matriculation Programs and Program Assessment.
