FRRC is seeking an experienced high-level organizer or advocate to lead a integrated comprehensive public education, voter registration, advocacy, and communication effort statewide in Florida with responsibility for implementation of the Amendment 4 ballot measure that restored voting rights to over 1.4 million Returning Citizens. Implementation strategy will be based on an existing blueprint developed in collaboration with allies and partners and in relationship to FRRC’s updated strategic plan for the organization.

The ideal candidate for this position would have diverse experience in a range of areas including: civic engagement, legislative and legal advocacy, capacity building and managing coalition partnerships at both the state and national level.  Familiarity with a variety of organizing models and tools, existing relationships with national and state grassroots organizations and familiarity with voting rights and or criminal justice issues is also desirable.
