​The Communication and Community Engagement Coordinator will work in close collaboration with the Alliance’s Director and/or Communications Director and other senior staff and consultants to support the Alliance’s efforts to build the higher education in prison community, specifically through special events and convenings, public communication and messaging and working with volunteers. Applicants should be experienced in network building, volunteer and community engagement on a national level and with a non-profit network. Applicants should have expertise managing and creating content for multiple types of communication platforms. Additionally, applicants should be a creative, thoughtful and collaborative colleague, and be in strong alignment with the social, racial and education equity mission of the Alliance.

Operations Manager at the Alliance for Higher Education in Prison

​The Operations Manager will work in close collaboration with the Alliance’s Director, senior staff and consultants to support long-term planning and day-to-day operations of the Alliance. The Operations Manager will also work in close coordination with Community Partners, the Alliance’s fiscal sponsor, to manage contracts, human resources, and payroll and finance systems. This position serves the function of developing and implementing internal management systems that will increase the effectiveness and efficiency of the network and improve our ability to expand programming. Applicants should be experienced working within a non-profit network, ideally on a national level and have demonstrated expertise effectively managing a network or organization in its early stages, when significant infrastructure is being developed. Additionally, applicants should be a creative, thoughtful and collaborative colleague, and be in strong alignment with the social, racial and education equity mission of the Alliance.
